Fans of the Danish esports organization will remember how Heroic hit the top spot in the CS:GO team rankings in October 2020. However, after such an amazing result, the team fell below the 10th place, which had no negative consequences for the players, who did not lack motivation and desire to win. September 2022 can easily be considered the worst month for Heroic in 2022, because then the players failed to rise above the 15th place. Despite these difficulties, Heroic players did not give up on their dreams and within a few months they were able to find their style of play, which helped them achieve their first results at a high level. Currently, Heroic is recognized as one of the most successful and promising teams on the international stage, with online betting increasingly appearing to support the Danish team.

Heroic is a Danish professional esports organization that was founded by former members of Team X on August 26, 2016. Previously it was a team with device and various professional Danish players. The current roster of Heroic, which has a promising future for this year, includes the following players: stavn (Martin Lund), jabbi (Jakob Nygaard), TeSeS (René Madsen), cadiaN (Casper Møller) and sjuush (Rasmus Beck). On January 25, 2023, there was an official announcement that head coach Richard Landström (Xizt) had extended his contract with the organization for two years.

Heroic's first success in the second half of last season was at the IEM Rio Major. On November 13, 2022, the Heroik contestants placed second in the grand finals after losing to the Outsiders. Two weeks later, the team became the winners of BLAST Premier: Fall Finals 2022. During the tournament, the players of the Danish esports organization defeated the following opponents: G2 Esports, Team Liquid and FaZe Clan.

With such significant victories, Heroic once again topped the HLTV list of the best teams in Counter Strike: Global Offensive, surpassing the Outsiders who did not participate in the Fall Finals. Heroic managed to reach the grand finals of BLAST twice in a row, thanks to which the Danish team was at the top of the ranking. By the way, the start of the tournament in 2023 was a continuation of the stunning career of the Danish team. According to cybersports analysts, as of today, the top three teams include G2 Esports, FaZe Clan and Heroic. In addition, Heroic has competed at IEM Katowice 2023 and continues to dominate the scene.

The Danish team Heroic became the first grand finalist of IEM Katowice 2023, beating NAVI 2-0 in the semi-finals. Due to such an ending, NAVI is eliminated from the championship, taking 3rd-4th place ($80,000). The first semi-final of the championship was played on the Inferno map selected by NAVI. Here, the players of Xizt managed to quickly take the initiative on the server and in this way completely break the opponent's game. However, it is worth noting that at the end of the first half, the NAVI players returned to the game to make up for the loss, but after the change of sides, the Heroic players attacked with lightning speed and took the lead in the series - 16:8. After some time, Heroic and NAVI moved to the Mirage map chosen by the Danes. On this map, the Xizt team began to impose their own style again, as a result of which NAVI could not quickly adapt to the opponent's game. In the end, Natus Vincere lost with a score of 11:4. Even switching sides didn't help the Ukrainian team as the Heroic fighters won the pistol series by moving forward. The attack of the Danes was quite surprising, which is why NAVI did not have time to wake up, which helped Heroic secure a triumphant victory and promotion to the grand final of the championship — 16:7.

The Danish team has had its losses and wins, but still remains on the list of the best teams, proving that the key to success in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is never giving up. Even after Heroic failed to claim a coveted spot at the BLAST Premier Fall - 2022 Finals, the team nevertheless defeated their opponents at the European Fall Showdown, returning to action without a single loss. Many cybersports experts believe that this is the main Heroic phenomenon. The Danes stayed at the bottom of the leaderboard for a long time, in the meantime actively training and choosing the best tactics. As a result, the team has found the right players who have caught the rhythm of victory and you can already see from the recent victories that they cannot be stopped.
