ESL Challenger Katowice 2023
The next ESL Challenger Series Championship will take place in Katowice, Poland. The venue of the event will be ESL Studio. Eight teams from the CIS, Europe, North America, South Africa and Latin America will take part in the tournament, which will be held from June 9-11.
ESL Challenger Katowice 2023 The International will feature a trip to ESL Pro League Season 18 for the winner. On top of that, the champion will receive a $50,000 cash prize as well as ranking points for the BLAST Premier season table.

The championship will be divided into two stages:
- Group stage: 9-10 June.
- Play-offs: 11th June.
The group stage of ESL Challenger Katowice 2023 will be held in a GSL format. All eight teams will be pre-divided into two groups, with two runners-up from each group qualifying for the play-offs. The first leg and the winning games will be played as BO1 (one match) while all other matches will be BO3 (two matches).
The play-offs of the tournament will take place in a Single-Elimination grid format. Here, all matches will be played in BO3 format.

Group stage draw
The group stage draw for ESL Challenger Katowice 2023 was carried out in advance by the organisers, splitting the participants into two quartets:
Group A:
- ENCE, Virtus.pro, Party Astronauts and Bravado Gaming.
Group B:
- paiN Gaming, FORZE, 9z and ECSTATIC.
Prize pool distribution
ESL Challenger Katowice 2023 will offer participants an aggregate cash prize of $100,000. The winner will receive exactly half of this amount and will also be invited to the group stage of ESL Pro League Season 18.
The runner-up team will receive $20,000 while the semifinalists will each receive $10,000. The 5-6th place teams will win $3,000 each, while the teams that finish in last place will receive $2,000.
