Mathieu «ZywOo» Herbaut is one of the brightest and most successful representatives of the young school of the French Counter-Strike. Despite his rather young age, ZywOo has already proven that he is a skillful player that may compete even with the most experienced esportsmen. Beginning of Career
As the majority of esportsmen, ZywOo had started his career long before joining a professional organization. Since his early childhood, he has been spending a lot of time on computer games. This, consequently, helped him build a successful career.
The first club for ZywOo was the team dizLown. There the gamer played from 2014 till 2015. Together with the team, ZywOo took part in local tournament and minor championships. There was not any special success for the gamer but it definitely resulted in some experience for ZywOo.
The next team for ZywOo was Nevermind. There the gamer spent only several months and after that joined E-Corp Bumpers. ZywOo Continued performing at small championships and polishing his personal level of gaming. Then the gamer stood out in comparison to other promising esportsmen.
In March 2017, ZywOo joined WySix Team. ZywOo spent half a year there and after that he moved to against All authority. After a year in AAA, the gamer was noticed by Vitality.
Team Vitality and Individual Achievements
Joining Team Vitality was a tipping point in ZywOo’s career. Surrounded by the experienced teammates, ZywOo finally got a chance to reveal his full potential.
Having become a member of Team Vitality in October 2018, in November ZywOo won DreamHack Open Atlanta 2018. Five months later, the team won 5 Charleroi Esports 2019, and one month later – cs_summit 4.
In June 2019, the team won Esports Championship Series Season 7 – Finals. In July, Team Vitality stopped one step away from the victory at ESL One: Cologne 2019, and in October took second place at DreamHack Masters Malmo 2019.
Bold victories returned in December 2019 when the team won EPICENTER 2019. It was the last victorious LAN tournament for ZywOo and the team before the pandemic started.
When the gamers moved online, Vitality did not lose their shape. The team took second place at BLAST Premier: Spring 2020 European Finals and second position at ESL One: Cologne 2020 Online – Europe.
In his relatively short career, ZywOo managed to get numerous personal awards. He got the title of MVP at such championships like cs_summit 4, ESC Season 7 Finals, ESL One: Cologne 2019, DreamHack Masters Malmo 2019, EPICENTER 2019. In 2019, ZywOo became the youngest gamer that was called the best performer of the year according to HLTV.
In his career, ZywOo has already managed to earn over 271,000 dollars of grabs.
