Los Angeles Gladiators win Overwatch League 2022 - Midseason Madness

Overwatch League 2022 - Midseason Madness has come to an end. As part of the championship, which was held online from July 18 to July 24, twelve professional teams from North America and Asia fought for a prize pool of $1,000,000, as well as rating points in the Overwatch League - 2022: League season table. The winner of the tournament was the Los Angeles Gladiators team, which in the grand final was stronger than San Francisco Shock with a score of 4:2 (Ilios - 2:1; Eichenwalde - 3:1; Watchpoint: Gibraltar - 4:3; New Queen Street - 57, 18: 82.17; Lijiang Tower - 0:2; Dorado - 5:4).

The championship for the future winner began with confident victories over the Houston Outlaws (3:0) and Hangzhou Spark (3:2). However, in the final of the upper bracket, the North American team lost to San Francisco Shock (2:3), thereby falling into the lower part of the Overwatch League 2022 - Midseason Madness.

Then the team managed to cope with Atlanta Reign (3:1) and made it to the grand final. Here, the Los Angeles Gladiators took a confident revenge on the San Francisco Shock (4:2), thanks to which they became the winner of the Overwatch League 2022 - Midseason Madness, earning $500,000 and 4 points.
