Among the participants who did not win any of the matches, it is worth noting such teams as NewHappy, BN United, FaZe Clan and MaD Clan. These teams have shown a real zeal for victory and have repeatedly reached the top 3 and even top 2 matches, but they still have to work hard to earn a place in the Grand Survival stage.
Next, the matches of the second week of Weekly Survival await us. In them, the teams that won the matches of the first week will be able to consolidate their success and improve their chances of reaching the Weekly Finals, where they can compete for invites to the Grand Finals.
For those who do not know about the method of holding PUBG championships, here's how it works. 32 participants have previously fought in Rank Decision matches, the goal of which is to determine the seeding of the participants in the next stage. The worst team (Dignitas) went to Bottom 16, where they will have the opportunity to improve their results. The rest of the teams went to Weekly Survival, from where the best teams will advance to the next stage, Weekly Finals. Those who failed to qualify for the Weekly Finals will go to Bottom 16, where they will fight to improve their results in the standings. The best team from Bottom 16 will take 17th place in the standings.
The top 12 teams from the Weekly Finals will advance to the Grand Finals, where they will compete for the lion's share of the prize pool. The rest of the Weekly Finals participants will go to Grand Survival, where they will compete for an additional 4 slots of the final stage.
If we simplify the process of holding PUBG Global Championship 2021 matches as much as possible, then the teams will play in the following stages:
